Plum Basil Chicken: 4 pieces Turkey bacon 2 chicken breasts 3/4 c panko crumbs 1/2 c flour 1 Tbsp nathan’s mustard 1/4 tsp turmeric salt & pepper 1 tsp thyme 1/8 tsp cayenne powder 1 egg Plum basil compote (about 1/2 cup)
This appetizer idea popped into my head last weekend. They turned out amazingly well, for something so impromptu. I guess it’s a sign that I need to host a party soon, so I can make more and experiment with adding cheese and jalapeno!
